North Port Ulta thieves caught tossing pilfered perfume from car

NORTH PORT, Fla. — Three women are facing theft charges after allegedly walking out of a North Port Ulta with bags of stolen merchandise.

According to the North Port Police Department, the women were seen loading large bags with perfume from the store shelves.

Police tracked the trio down on I-75, and when they caught up to the women, they were seen throwing their stolen scents out of the car window.

In all, the women are accused of stealing $2,730 worth of perfume.

The North Port Police Department has corrected the dollar amount in the post above. The women stole $2,730 worth of perfume.

The trio is from Broward County, and believed to be part of a larger theft ring, hitting other stores across the state.
