THE Manila city government has enjoined everybody to its nonstop booster shots at its drive-through Covid-19 vaccination facility at the Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park Luneta.
Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso announced there will be no limit to the number of vehicles during the 24/7 vaccination caravan.
“In order to increase protection quickly, we decided that the booster vaccination drive-[through] caravan in the City of Manila be made available 24 hours,” he said during his inspection of the facility Thursday night.
According to Domagoso, the booster shot drive-through vaccination is open even to those who are not residents of Manila.
“Due to the increase in demand of our booster vaccination drive-through caravan in Luneta, we saw that it was really overflowing which means people want to be vaccinated, we are bringing people closer to the vaccine,” he pointed out.
The Manila chief executive further assured that the city government will continue to strengthen its efforts in mitigating the effect of Covid-19.
He said that continuous effort must be done in order to save as many lives as possible.
“We will continue, we will expand, we will extend, we will do [unlimited vaccination] as long as there is a vaccine,” Domagoso said.
