4 drug suspects fall in Bataan

ORION, Bataan: A police team arrested four suspects and confiscated 12 grams of suspected shabu in a sting operation at a drug den here Thursday night.

Maj. Jeffrey Onde, Orion police chief, said the apprehension of the suspects resulted in the dismantling of the drug den in Sitio Bangad, Barangay Sto. Domingo in Orion.

The arrested suspects were identified as Christian Lee Navarro, 38; Jeremy Enriquez, 30; Sharilane Dizon, 23; and Rojain Cani, 33, all of Orion, Bataan.

Navarro is the suspected maintainer of the drug den and is listed among the targets of the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Onde said.

Confiscated were three small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and two medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu estimated at 12 grams, and various drug paraphernalia and a marked P500 buy-bust money.

Participating in the raid were members of the Orion municipal police station, the Bataan provincial police office and the PDEA.

Onde said the four suspects face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
